High Levels of Animal Protein and Satured Fat in Diet Can Increase Risk of Non-Hodgki

Compared with women who had the lowest levels of animal protein and saturated fat in their diet, those with the highest levels had an increased risk of NHL, report Dr. Tongzhang Zheng, of Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, Connecticut, and colleagues. The increase risk was 70 percent for animal fat and 90 percent for saturated fat.
